Overview

Core Gold is a gold mining company based in Canada with all operations in southern Ecuador. The company counts with three world-class assets including the Dynasty District copper-gold belt, the Zaruma Mine & Mill, and the Jerusalem project on trend with Fruta del Norte. The company was reorganized under a new board and management in September 2016 and is currently the largest producer of gold in Ecuador.

OUR FLAGSHIP ASSET: THE DYNASTY DISTRICT

The Dynasty District is a 50,000-hectare land package host to a 30 Km by 90 Km long copper gold belt extending from the Peruvian border on its southern edge 90 Km’s NE towards Zaruma. The Dynasty District is an extension of the prolific Peruvian copper gold trend and includes five known production and exploration targets, with well known gold-copper porphyry and epithermal vein potential.

Core Gold management put the Dynasty Goldfield target into production within four months of assuming control of the Dynasty District in Q3 2016. The Dynasty Goldfield target has a total 43-101 resource of 2,202,000 oz Au.

LEGACY ASSETS

Core Gold's legacy Zaruma Gold Mine, located 175km south of Guayaquil, began gold production in 2011 and reached commercial production in October 2013, having produced more than 70,000 ounces of gold and +150,000 ounces of silver under Dynasty ownership. A 43-101 compliant Preliminary Economic Assessment indicates a mine life of roughly 15 years with resources delineated in the most recent mineral resource estimates.

The adjacent Zaruma processing plant has a nameplate capacity of up to 2,000 tonnes per day and is where all company material is currently being treated.

EXPLORATION

Current exploration plans include a drilling program at the highly prospective Copper Duke (Cu-Au porphyry potential) and Linderos (brecciated shear zone which has showings of very high grade surface Au mineralization) targets within the Dynasty District.
